SUPPORT NO SURF FEST
No Surf Fest is a free, all-ages outdoor music festival presented by No Surf House in partnership with the Westown Community Development Corporation. It's a one-day celebration of Cleveland's independent music scene—local bands, touring artists, neighbors on lawn chairs, kids dancing in the grass, and a community coming together in a public park.
There are no ticket gates. No VIP sections. No barriers between the artists and the audience.
Just music, community, and an open lawn at Halloran Park.
Why Is It Free?
We believe that live music and the arts should be accessible to everyone.
No Surf Fest is designed as a free public event so that:
- Families can attend without worrying about ticket prices
- Young people can discover local music
- Neighbors can walk over and feel welcome
- Artists can perform for a broad, diverse audience
But "free" doesn't mean "without cost."
Producing a safe, professional outdoor festival requires:
- Stage production and sound engineering
- Permits and city services
- Insurance and safety planning
- Artist compensation
- Equipment rental and logistics
- ADA accessibility and public infrastructure
We work hard to keep this event free to the public—while still paying artists and running the event responsibly.
